The start of Vacation pictures...

The Beginning of the 12 day road trip...Andy's packing job in the van. He could even see out the back window. Yes, there are tents, sleeping bags, camping stove and supplies, plus suitcases in there. My husband is AMAZING!

Everyone is ready to go...

Cheese!

We've only been in the car 2 hours...

Our first stop was in Wenatchee, WA and we visited with our good friends the Strong's. We met Kyle and Laura at Multnomah and our front doors to our apartments were about 7ft away from each other. Now, 7 years later we each have 3 kids, that makes for a busy and noisy house. Thanks for hosting us Strong's!
(R-L: Josiah, Livia, Evan, Hope and Maddeck -baby Miles was sleeping and missing from the picture)

Kid Sayings

Josiah, "MOM... My sock is on the roof."

I weeded the garden and drew an imaginary line in the dirt for where the kids could and couldn't play (because we still have a chance of pumpkins and carrots growing). Hope asks, "Can we walk on the line?"

Mom: Livia, did you have a good nap?
Livia: NO!
Mom: Livia, can mommy have a hug?
Livia: NO!
Mom: Livia, do you want to play with your dolly?
Livia: NO!

Livia does say more than "NO" these days, some other favorites are: "I see you!" "CUP!" "SIP Pees (please)!"
(And yes I need all those exclamation marks, because that's just how Livia talks)!

How I Spent My Morning...

Livia is 18 months old today! She is anything, but a baby anymore. She is in full toddler mode, exploring, learning, exploring, talking, dancing, climbing, exploring...watch the video below and see how I got to spend part of my morning...cleaning up at least one million sprinkle balls...

(Oh and it wasn't as easy as you would think, those little balls like to scatter!)

THIRTY

Totally Surprised!

Andy surprised me with a wonderful weekend last weekend for my 30th birthday! We spent a relaxing day together as a family on Friday (my actual b-day day) and then went to dinner at Bob's Burger and Brew in Birch Bay Square where I knew we would meet up with extended family. What I didn't know was that two of my closest girlfriends (Nikki and Tara) would be there too! And when I say closest I don't mean in distance or proximity, one travelled from the Seattle area and the other travelled all they way from Corvallis Oregon! It was such a sweet surprise and so good to have time to hang out with friends I dearly miss! After dinner the girls got to come back home with me and hang out and then on Saturday morning I got to have a coffee date with them and just sit and chat and laugh and catch up! Girls, I love our phone conversations and the catch up times on Facebook, but having a day with you in person was the best birthday surprise ever! Thank you so much to my sweet husband for planning this since MARCH! Laura, we missed you SOOO much and I can't wait to see you, hopefully soon friend!!!

It feels good to be THIRTY and I'm looking forward to what this next decade will bring!

Have I mentioned I have an AMAZING husband!?
