Josiah, "MOM... My sock is on the roof."
I weeded the garden and drew an imaginary line in the dirt for where the kids could and couldn't play (because we still have a chance of pumpkins and carrots growing). Hope asks, "Can we walk on the line?"
Mom: Livia, did you have a good nap?
Livia: NO!
Mom: Livia, can mommy have a hug?
Livia: NO!
Mom: Livia, do you want to play with your dolly?
Livia: NO!
Livia does say more than "NO" these days, some other favorites are: "I see you!" "CUP!" "SIP Pees (please)!"
(And yes I need all those exclamation marks, because that's just how Livia talks)!
Make a joyful noise to the Lord, all the earth! Serve the Lord with gladness! Come into His presence with singing! Know that the Lord, He is God! It is He who made us, and we are His; we are His people, and the sheep of His pasture. Enter His gates with thanksgiving, and His courts with praise! Give thanks to Him, bless His name! For the Lord is good; His steadfast love endures forever, and His faithfulness to all generations. ~Psalm 100
