I learned some interesting facts about Mallard Ducks. A male and female pair up, but once the female lays the eggs the male duck abandons her. Then the female will incubate her eggs for about 27-28 days until they hatch. It looks like she will be around for at least the next month. The male duck was in our yard this morning too, but I'm sure he'll be gone in the next couple of days when the eggs are layed.
Make a joyful noise to the Lord, all the earth! Serve the Lord with gladness! Come into His presence with singing! Know that the Lord, He is God! It is He who made us, and we are His; we are His people, and the sheep of His pasture. Enter His gates with thanksgiving, and His courts with praise! Give thanks to Him, bless His name! For the Lord is good; His steadfast love endures forever, and His faithfulness to all generations. ~Psalm 100

Mommy Duck
Here is the mommy duck who has made residence in our yard. We haven't noticed any eggs yet, but I'm sure they will be here soon.

Hope's 5th Birthday Party
Kids' Stats
We have healthy growing kiddos and we thank the Lord for that!!!
Joey is now 40lbs and 41 1/2" tall. His height has now passed his weight, which means he is on track to keep getting taller and taller and taller...just like his daddy. He has been constantly asking for food, he is definitely our growing boy!
Hope weighed in at 44 lbs and about 43" tall at her well child check up. Still taller than brother, but I'm guessing not for long.
Livia is 24lbs and 31" tall.
The kids have been enjoying any sunny weather we get. We've recently been weeding the garden and getting ready to start our planting. Livia is repeating any word we say to her and starting to have conversations with us. This morning Andy said, "Livia, how are you?" She responded with, "Goo" (good).

What Can I Do
I thought I would share one of my favorite songs...
"What Can I Do"
When I see the beauty of a sunset's glory,
Amazing artistry across the evening sky
When I feel the mystery of a distant galaxy
It awes and humbles me to be loved
By a God so high
What can I do but thank You,
What can I do but give my life to You
Hallelujah, hallelujah
What can I do but praise You,
Everyday make everything I do a hallelujah
A hallelujah, hallelujah
When I hear the story of a God of mercy
Who shared humanity and suffered by our side
Of the cross they nailed You to, that could not hold You
Now You're making all things new by the power
Of Your risen life
What can I do but thank You,
What can I do but give my life to You
Hallelujah, hallelujah
What can I do but praise You,
Everyday make everything I do a hallelujah
A hallelujah, hallelujah
My prayer is to make everything I do a Hallelujah and to live my life to glorify Jesus Christ!
